On January 31, 2026, Helping Hands of Chinese Communities (HHCC) proudly presented its inaugural Chinese Spring Festival in Pierce County. Hosted at the Asia Pacific Cultural Center (APCC) in Tacoma, the event served as a vibrant celebration of Chinese American/Americans of Chinese Descent History Month. This gathering was inspired by Washington State’s historic, first-in-the-nation recognition of the profound contributions made by the Chinese community.

Initiated by HHCC and hosted in partnership with APCC, this landmark festival was made possible through the generosity of community partners and the tireless efforts of 51 dedicated HHCC volunteers. Together, we brought families and neighbors together for a joyful day of cultural heritage, performances, and community spirit.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this first festival a resounding success and a beautiful tribute to our shared history!

Experience the energy! This beautiful highlight reel, produced by the Asia Pacific Cultural Center (APCC), captures the best moments from our historic inaugural festival.

We were honored to be joined by Senator Keith Wagoner and Ms. Lua Pritchard, along with our wonderful MCs, to open this historic celebration.
