Our priority areas include English learning, citizenship preparation, and health and wellness services that help families build confidence, independence, and long-term stability.

Health and Wellness Programs

Health is a vital component of community empowerment. Our health initiatives aim to improve access to healthcare and promote overall well-being.

  • Health Screenings and Workshops: We organize regular health screenings and workshops that focus on preventive care, nutrition, and mental health. These events are designed to educate community members about available health resources.

  • Partnerships with Local Clinics: By partnering with local healthcare providers, we ensure that community members receive the care they need, regardless of their financial situation.

Building Community Connections

Networking Events

To foster connections within the community, we organize networking events that bring together individuals from various backgrounds. These events provide a platform for sharing experiences, resources, and opportunities.

  • Cultural Festivals: Our annual cultural festival celebrates Chinese heritage while promoting community engagement. It features performances, food stalls, and informational booths, allowing community members to connect and learn from one another.

  • Mentorship Programs: We pair experienced professionals with newcomers to provide guidance and support. This mentorship not only helps individuals navigate their careers but also strengthens community ties.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is a powerful way to give back and build connections. We encourage community members to get involved in our initiatives, whether through teaching, organizing events, or providing support to those in need.

Conclusion

At HHCC, our mission is simple: Help chinese communities help themselves, each other, and eventually help others. Through English learning, citizenship preparation, and health and wellness programs, we are building confidence, stability, and a brighter future for all.
